high temperature McGill – Sleeve Bearing Assembly – P/N: 309010 (NOS) are designed to deliver increased reliability, reduced complexity and decreased environmental impact in operating temperatures up to 350 °C (660 °F). Because SKF high temperature bearings correspond to the ISO dimensions of grease-lubricated bearings, production efficiencies and cost savings can be realized with a simple change to the SKF bearing solution. high temperature McGill – Sleeve Bearing Assembly – P/N: 309010 (NOS) offers a wide range of high temperature bearings and units according to ISO standards and also a range of customized high temperature bearings. Selection of an appropriate high temperature bearing is based on the bearing type and the operating conditions (primarily the temperature and speed) of the machinery.

Except for  high temperature McGill – Sleeve Bearing Assembly – P/N: 309010 (NOS), SKF Y-bearings (insert bearings) for high temperatures correspond in design to standard Y-bearings with grub screws in the YAR 2-2F series. The bearings have a shield and a flinger on both sides to prevent the ingress of solid contaminants into the bearing. The radial internal clearance is a multiple of C5 to prevent the bearings from seizing, even when they cool rapidly.
The entire surface of the bearing and the shields and flingers are manganese phosphated to enhance adhesion of the lubricant to the metal, thus improving the running-in properties of the bearing.
